Thank You, Baby were commissioned to design the set for Impala Skate’s dazzling campaign celebrating their new Gold Collection, a collaboration with the legendary performer and hula hoop artist, Marawa.

Inspired by Marawa’s larger-than-life presence and signature glamour, Thank You, Baby crafted a set that fully embraced the opulence of gold. The scene was wrapped in rich, glittered gold velvet drapery and accented with golden ostrich feathers to heighten the drama and playfulness. Custom gold-fringed plinths were built to hero the all gold skates, while a statement hoop adorned with sparkling gold glitter stars paid homage to Marawa’s hula hoop legacy.

The result was a maximalist, immersive gold world—vibrant, theatrical, and unapologetically fabulous - mirroring the spirit of both the skates and the superstar who inspired them.
